NVidea Shield or PC?

I have a dilemma , I have roughly $300
And was planning on buying a desktop Pc for light gaming , then I came across a NVidia shield at $250 AUD a few hours later a desktop online (USED) here are the specs :

H.D.D: WD CAVIAR GREEN 1 TB SATA3 HARD DISK
LG GH22 DVD WRITER
NUMAN ATX CASE WITH 400 WATT PSU

O/S:WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE 64 BIT ACTIVATED & MICROSOFT OFFICE 07

THE SET INCLUDES SAMSUNG 19 INCH LCD MONITOR, SPEAKERS, KEYBOARD AND MOUSE...

As I will only play games like DayZ and Battlefield 3 (lowest settings) but I heard you can run games via steam through Computer ? I have a basic computer for streaming . What do I choose ?

Ps4 or Xbox one, shield is for mobile games you play them 5-10min then you are bored of them. Go with consoles or if you hate them then go with PC you can play light and more serious games, you can surf watch movies, and many other things
