Nvidia 1050 ti not converting DVI to VGA with converter.

Hi all is there any reason my 1050 wouldn't be converting to vga with an adaptor.

I tried both DVi ports and s till no result, tested the screen and works fine with other computers.

any help is really appreciated.

Yes there is a reason why this might be happening. Passive converters require an analog signal out of the DVI, DVI-I. The new Nvidia cards output DVi-D, no analog, digital only. You need an active adapter for that.

You have a passive adapter most likely.
