I am a little confused, i bought a 2nd GTX1080ti for my current gaming PC recently, because i mainly wanted to use the 2nd one for crypto mining 24/7 and occasionally my primary card when not in use...

I noticed today with no mining software open... when i was playing league of legends, the MSI afterburner jumped for 0% load to 22% on my 2nd GPU while playing the game.. i dont have a SLI bridge, because my motherboard doesnt support SLI

If you're not putting the cards in SLI don't see why you'd need a bridge. Sounds like you already have both cards installed and everything's working fine, other than the odd GPU usage on the 2nd card? To confirm, I'm assuming you have your monitor plugged into your primary card, and nothing plugged into the 2nd one?

I have 2 4k monitors plugged into the Primary GPU ONLY, the 2nd one still has the plastic covers on all the ports from when i removed it from the box...

I have been trying to mine on the 2nd card while gaming, but it keeps freezing my computer up.. so lately i have been just turning the miners off when i play games...

DX12 might be taking advantage of the second card to offload the desktop or something?

Or perhaps PhysX settings?

I dont know enough about it to know that really lol... thus why im asking yall... I know it is being triggered by the game, because i can alt tab/minimize out of the game and the load on the 2nd GPU immediately drops back to 0%, then back up when i bring the game back up as my active screen.
