Nvidia 460 gtx on a ati chipset (M4A785-M)

I want to know if someone did the same combo. Because I like the both, I just want to be sure before to buy them because some people said they will be software problem , and others said there is no problem. I want to know if i will be able to make the hybrid crossfire with the ati chipset and the nvidia 460 gtx. Thank you very much I'm confused and hope some one will help me.

Is this a new build? I mean M4A785-M is a bit old, why not something more current? Or do you already have a cpu for it?

It's no problem to run a Nvidia video card on a ATI chipset motherboard. I do not know if you can use the hybrid crossfire though, I'm thinking no.

It would be pointless anyways. It would kinda be like taking a lawn mower engine and hooking it up to your Big block V8 to make it faster.

Thank you for the answer. I'm shopping on tigerdirect.ca and this is a bundle with the cpu. ASUS M4A785-M Motherboard and AMD Phenom X4 9750 Quad Core Processor Bundle for 137.99 . I think its a good deal. What do you think?
