Nvidia 680 bottle necking

Would my Amd FX 4170 bottle neck an Nvidia 680? As i am considering purchasing one as long as my CPU can use the 680 at its full potential so i can get the most out of it.

Yes absolutely your CPU would bottleneck the 680, therefore you would not be able to fully utilize it.

Yes there will be bottleneck or with current cpu you can get hd 7950 or gtx 660ti.
