(nvidia 750ti) stuck at BIOS screen

So a few weeks ago,I wasn't able to boot my PC.it always get stuck at BIOS splash screen or immediately after it on a blank screen with a blinking underscore.
After sometime of thinking and trying different solutions I plugged the monitor on mb port and it booted up,I also put in an older card and it booted up then too.
So I sent the card for RMA but they sent the card back saying your card has passed all out tests and is ok.
I haven't tried the card on any other PC yet.
I can't seem to find the problem here and I'm starting to get worried.
Any help would really be appreciated

This is 99% not GPU related but more of a windows / hard drive issue.

The best thing to do would be to insert a windows media and try to do a startup repair.

If it does not help you might need to reinstall windows because something is corrupted or the hard drive is failing

Reinstalling the windows is next on my list but I don't get it, if its windows related problem then why does it boot on other cards

Actually I have two hard drives though, one is like really old and other is old too but not that much

If you can acces the bios try to turn on palette snooping this worked for me when i had my 750 ti

My GPU is gigabyte 750ti
Other specs are
CPU - phenom II x4 955BE
Mono - Asus M4A78-em/1394
RAM - 8 GB DDR2
PSU-Corsair VS 450
I don't hear any beeps.
As I was researching a bit ,I found people with similar problem but they only faced this while installing new GPUs and by updating their BIOS it was solved.
But the problem is I've been using my GPU on the system for about 2 years no problem and my BIOS is already updated

You should try to reset the CMOS/BIOS. Your board's manual has all the info on how to do it. If that doesn't work you should try testing that card on another system. Also the PCIe slot on your mobo may be damaged or your PSU may be failing. So you need to test that card in another system and if it works then you need test your system (and that card) with another PSU. Borrow one from a friend if you don't have one spare unit available.

I don't think the pcie is damaged because an older card is working fine in it
Already cleared CMOS
PSU isn't that old, it as old as the card but I have an older PSU which I can put in to test

Try to turn on palette snooping this works for a lot of systems especially OEM systems

Don't have that option in the BIOS, also it's not an OEM system

i think there is a switch on a 750ti it is really tiny tho try and switch it if there is one that changes the gpu bios to legacy because i think your board isnt uefi

AFAIK it's only on selected model maybe MSI, mine is gigabyte and don't have any switch I checked thoroughly.
Yep the BIOS isn't uefi but it worked fine for 2 years, i don't know how lol

Thats just weird maybe try and flash the bios of the gpu idk

I've heard that's risky and If I mess it up I'll lose my graphic card too and it's not sure shot either.
I had asked gigabyte to do it ,but they said the same thing

Thats is just weird maybe your pci slot is broken in some kind of way idk

Yeah but the weirdest thing is that it used to work maybe test in a friends system or something if it works in that just sell it and get a new gpu
