I just got my gtx760 card back and gigabyte told me nothing wrong. I am running the MSI Afterburner program in the background and playing Battlefield 4. Last week, I had the old 285x card in the computer and no problems. Now, with the 760, I have had 3 disconnects from a server I play all the time. I look at the graph on MSI and the GPU usage spikes to 99 percent. I knocked down the graphics and it did it a third time - disconnecting. It gets very frustrating, I went to nvidia control panel and now I have it set to optimal power performance.
what do you guys think?

Try different pci cables and see if that works or try to re plug the ones you have now but try to make it go deeper.

high gpu usage is fine because this is fairly low end by todays standards

Can your power supply handle it? Did this happen before?

Hi, thanks for helping, I have a 750 watt power supply and this didn't happen before like this. I was wondering if I pop the card into a different pci slot? When playing the game of B4 is the only game it happens. It didn't do it with Armed Assault 3. Perhaps, the settings? I knocked the settings down and it still disconnected. Thanks for any help guys but it didn't occur with the old card in the game.

What's the brand and model of your power supply? Chances are that it could handle your old card but not your new one.
