Rig spec:
  • Intel® Core™ i7-4770K Quad Core 3.50 GHz +20% Overclocking
  • Asetek 570LX Liquid Cooling w/ 240MM Radiator
  • 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3/2133mhz Dual Channel Memory (Kingston HyperX Predator w/Heat Spreader)
  • Asus Z87-K Intel Z87 Chipset
  • 850 Watts Power Supply
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 4GB 16X PCIe 3.0

My rig is now about 5 years old. Generally, it is fine but some games I play need more graphics power. Thinking of going to 1070ti or 2070 Super as the price is not that different between them (£400-£500).
However, can my rig cope with those cards? Or will they be too powerful and just cause bottlenecks elsewhere? Will they cause the rest of the rig to crash as it can't cope?
Big Thanks for your views!

Solution
I think it will work great with the 1070 Ti....or a 1080.
The 2070 Super "might" be a little much....but not by much at all.....so I wouldn't let that hold me back. If I wanted the 2070 Super.....I'd get it.
