I think that the r5 may have a slight lead in systems that were otherwise identical. For 3d apps, your cpu will be more important. Don't be confused the the 4GB of RAM: both of these are very low end GPUs. With intel's new skylake graphics they are matched or surpassed by integrated graphics.
