Hi, I am looking into building a new pc and I originally found all of the components for a build that included the 960. I recently learned that nvidia is giving away some games with their graphics cards. The witcher 3 comes with both the 960 and the 970, but the 970 comes with witcher 3, and the new batman game. Previously I thought the $120 difference between the two cards is not enough for me to upgrade, but considering I would buy batman for sure anyway this is now only a $60 difference. Do you believe that the greater graphically capabilities warrants the extra $60 for the 970?
Oh and I tend to play both less graphically commanding games such as LoL and Hearthstone, and I would also like to play triple A titles such as Batman, far cry, and so on.

Thanks for any input!

If you're going to get batman anyways, get it for free and a much better GPU to go with it.

The 960 is respectable processing power, but oddly configured for memory bus width.

Newegg is also offering a 3gb gtx 780 for pretty good pricing, it performs between the two cards.

The 970 and 780 will be relevant for significantly longer.

I agree with the other posters. The 970 is already an amazing card that I would recommend getting anyway, but if you ARE buying Batman anyway, why no go ahead and get it free.

I've loved my 970 since I bought it a few months ago... Too bad I didn't a free game, haha.
