Nvidia and intel gpu and motherboard

I’m looking at an nvidia gtx 660 graphics card on a website and I’m wondering if it would work with my intel dq67sw motherboard. I asked you this question about my amd Radeon 7870 and you guys said that it would work and it’s not working and now you guys are saying that I should get a new gpu. Can I please have a sure answer this time? Thank you for your time.

Your motherboard has a gen 2 pcie X16 graphics slot.
That should support ANY modern graphics card including the GTX660 and the 7870.

I suspect the 7870 is defective, I would return it to the seller.
I assume you have a psu with the requisite pair of 6 pin pcie power adapters, and they are securely plugged in.

FWIW, GTX660 is newer gen and needs only one 6 pin adapter.

The 7870 was made by his and has worked in a dell inspiron 570 with the same power supply. (His 7870 iceq turbo)
