Ive never picked Amd/Ati over Nvidia or vice versa for Ive used both, but it will be great to finally have more choices in which motherboards we can use now. Now I just hope for a decent budget motherboard that supports both crossfire and sli and not something thats gonna cost $400+ because of licencing costs.(and possible certification costs) If the last quote is true (It feels like we might see a huge war of enthusiast boards soon.) I'm not dedicated to any brand over any other either, which is why I want Sli/Crossfire support on the same motherboards. Cost is always a factor for me, but if nvidia licensed Sli widely enough, they wouldn't need huge receipts from any single mobo, the wide use of them in lower cost boards would likely pay similarly, possibly better for the sale of two cards per system...
