NVidia C1060 (gen 2) GPU

ordering a Lenovo D20 with 2 Intel W5580 Processors. Considering adding the nVidia C1060. Intended use - high end CS4 utilization as well as 3D MRI and CT rendering. Will the C1060 enhance performance?
