[SOLVED] NVidia Cancel 3080 20GB and 3070 16GB?

Solution
3070 16 GB and 3080 20 GB? I think ~ a month ago I saw 3070 Ti and 3080 Ti with that much memory mentioned in techpowerup or elsewhere.
Probably there will be released such gpus (Ti's/Supers) for hi-end gamers, with >10 and <24 GB vram sometime to compete AMD even if they don't want to do so now. Gen. 20's GPUs has had random release dates between September 2018 and July 2019.

Sounds like either memory shortages are to blame, or else testing showed that doubling the memory increased the price a lot more than it increased performance. They may have also gotten wind of what AMD's Big Navi cards will be, and decided they didn't need more memory to be competitive. Increasing the memory also bites into sales of the card above, ie a 20gb 3080 bites into 3090 sales and a 16gb 3070 bites into 3080 sales.
