Hey guys im planning to upgrade my pc by replacing my gpu witch is a gtx 650 problem is i thought of buying a gtx 970 but now that i think about it a gtx 970 would a an overkillcard for a resolution that im using(1360x768) BUT later on im planning on upgrading to a 1600x900 witch still would be an overkill with a card like that so my question is what NVIDIA cards would you recommned that would be perfect for 1600x900 resolution as in would run all coming games at high settings with 50-60fps at no problem and would still be future proof card for my pc.

PC SPECS
CPU Intel Quad core i5 4570 3.20ghz(turbo 3.60ghz)
Ram Crucial 4GB DDR3 Ballistix Black 1600mhz X2(dual channel)
HDD Seagate Barracuda 7200 1TB
GeForce GTX 650 MSI OC v1 1GB Edition
MOB ASRock B85M-HDS

Solution
Hmm....i would say a gtx 960 is ideal for your setup.
Put some of the money you save to put 4 more gb ram.
At that resolution it is more than enough to run every game at full settings without lags.

right now im on a 1360x768 monitor but later on after the gpu upgrade i will definelty get a 900p monitor since it will be enough for me i'm really not that visual crazy that i want 1080p 60 fps max settings every game i play games more for gameplay than visuals but still high settings 60fps is my sweet spot :)
