I think I must be really daft and must be missing something so obvious, but here goes... I have an Alienware X51 R3 with NVIDIA GTX 960 and an integrated Intel HD Graphics 530 card. It’s connected simply by a HDMI cable. I was trying to fool around with some global settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel (which I’ve never used before, just the GEForce Experience thing) so I right clicked on desktop selected NVIDIA control panel and I get the following error message:
NVIDIA Display settings are not available.
You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU.

What is going on here? Really appreciate any help.

HDMI on back of PC to a HDMI input on the box that came with the
Samsung UN65JS9000. I’ve played games on it for a couple of years now, has it not been accessing my better graphics card? Total noob here.

The TV is recognizing tonight, don’t know what when on last night, but it’s working now. Thanks so much for all your help. Just one of those things, hope it never happens again.
