Operating System & Version: Windows 10 Pro creator's update 15063
GPU Drivers: 382.05 clean install
Description of Problem:

I purchased an Acer Predator monitor which supports 165hz. I have the monitor enabled for this speed, but when I go into the Nvidia Control Panel and choose "Custom Resolution and Hz" I am able to select 165Hz and it tests OK. However, when I hit save the choice seems to disappear and does not actually save. I have done a clean install of my drivers (some older threads said this solved the issue for them) but I am still having the problem.

Here is a recording of this issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbJ_cUsucWg&feature=youtu.be

144Hz also does not work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWGuh0EubSs

I believe so. I do not see an option to select a version, but I have Display Port chosen, and I have enabled the 165Hz overclock so in that sense the monitor should know that 1.2 is needed.

The Nvidia control panel lets me choose 120Hz, but nothing beyond that. I am using the Display Port cable that came with my monitor.
