Nvidia control panel missing

Hi people,

My Nvidia control panel went missing on my laptop, so everytime I want to play a game it plays via my onboard Intel Graphics. I can't switch from gpu because Nvidia control panel is missing.

Is this a more common bug or is it just normal and I need to switch from gpu manually?

what make/model laptop? Laptop should auto swap to GPU when it detects games or high impact graphics programs.
