Nvidia Control Panel Won't Open Windows 8

So I was overclocking my CPU and now Windows seems to have gone crazy after it crashed. I'm not new to overclocking; I knew what I was doing.

I have two 760's running in SLI (well, not anymore since Nvidia Control Panel won't open), and i5 4670k with a Corsair H100i and an Asus Maximus VI Hero board with 16 gb Ballistix ram. My psu is a Corsair HX650- which, by the way, is surprisingly more than enough for my setup.

Edit: Also, the fans on both my GPUs are running fine.
MSI afterburner won't even detect my GPUs.

None of my games will open- probably because I don't have the drivers for my intel's integrated graphics.

Oh and, the option to put my computer to sleep is gone. What on earth is happening? 🙁

Upload your minidumps. And Jesus, how far did you go with that overclocking? You have to go pretty far to get a bluescreen like that and screw up your cards. If you overclocked your cards, lets hope you didn't burn them out.

Minidumps? Don't know what that is, sorry 🙁. I didn't even go far, tried getting 4.5 ghz with 1.3v. As far as my cards, they were both overclocked and running fine in the 70's when playing games.

Go to C:/Windows/minidumps and upload anything in there.

Put them into a .zip file.

When I try to compress them, I get the error: File not found or no read permission.

Though, I'm not sure if Nvidia Control panel crashed during a BSOD. It was weird, actually. I restarted my computer myself- without it crashing. When it restarted, the display was really messed up and I had to put it back to 1440p.

Copy and paste them to the desktop, then ZIP them.

Looks like a coincidence and that you somehow got hit with a nasty virus, OR your overclocking corrupted the data structure of your Hard Drive. You can try going into CMD and typing sfc /scannow, doing a virus scan, and lastly, if they fail, wiping the system and restarting.

I somehow got it to work by doing a clean driver installation through Geforce Experience. It's funny that the option to put the computer to sleep came back, too. Knowing this, do you still think my computer has a virus? I have Bitdefender and it hasn't detected anything yet.

Then, no. Your overclocking probably corrupted the drivers to the point that it wasn't recognizing your cards. I am glad it is fixed!
