Hi there community!
I am having major issues with what I think is a display driver conflict repeatedly occurring and I'm wondering if anybody can help me resolve this issue. The 2 problems that I'm getting are: 1) Windows Aero effects not displaying (transparency etc), and 2) when watching YouTube videos the video freezes and shows the loading circle in the middle of the screen for anywhere from 3 seconds to indefinitely, making it impossible to watch anything. The sound plays fine, and the entire video will be downloaded ahead of playback but it suggests that it hasn't loaded by the roundabout circle in the middle.
After researching the issue I found it was a display driver conflict so I uninstalled all display drivers and anything to do with Nvidia, then re-installed them and this seemed to fix the problem, temporarily!! After repeating this process numerous times only to have it happen again and again I decided more research was needed. I then found this nugget of information:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/327414-nvidia-drivers-avoid-problems.html
So after doing everything this tutorial told me to do I thought I had finally fixed the problem as it stayed fixed for a week or 2. when I finally did a re-start on my PC a couple of weeks later I found it had reverted to it's old ways, so, I repeated the process, yet I am still getting the exact same issue every time I re-boot my PC and am also having it periodically after a few weeks sometimes, even if I don't re-boot.
Can anybody please help me to resolve this issue as I am so sick of uninstalling display drivers and re-installing now that I have done it 30+ times it isn't fun anymore!!
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank-you in advance.
Beau
