Nvidia Display Driver has stopped responding, and has recoverd.

Hello community , i built a brand new computer and im getting a grey screen into sound stuttering then i receive the message that my graphics driver has stopped working.

Im using the latest geforce expierence drivers.

My graphics card is the GTX 770 Windforce by Gigabyte.

-Attempted soloutions

( temp's are all normal and fairly low)
-Set quality to prefferd high in command prompt

- reinstalled drivers

- reboots.

This problem occours everytime i open a steam game, so far i can watch fullscreen youtube videos, play hearthstone but as soon as i try to launch rust in any res/windowed or not it just crashes.

please help!

The nominal voltage on the GTX 770 while in 3D mode is 1.200V. The driver drops this in 2D mode to 0.900, but is supposed to ramp up the voltage and clocks when you launch a 3D app (e.g. game). If the voltage is under about 1.000 in 3D mode, the GPU will cause a driver crash similar to what you describe.

Can you check if the GPU voltage jumps above 0.900 when a game is launched? MSI afterburner can moniter and graph this for you while running in the background.

It says at around 8.7 volts to 9 volts when i launch games, i was just doing all my windows updates, aparently hearthstone works, i tested Cs;Go it launches but crashes before game can start

i tried sooo manny fixes and this new comp has been problem after problem i hope its actually just bad video ram cause they will replace it, but i had a boot issue with my ssd earlier so ima get the whole system tested tmwr at canada computers.... welp time to weep.
