Nvidia driver 355.60 apparently couldn't continue

Okay, so just today I was installing the latest driver, 355.60. It installed the regular graphics driver just fine, but other drivers like the 3D ready one it didn't do anything (if I recall correctly) and for the HD audio driver it apparently outright failed. It gave me the option to retry so I did but the exact same result occurred anyway. This is the first time this has ever happened to me when it comes to installing the latest Nvidia drivers, so I have no idea what's up? Anyone have a clue, and does anyone have something to recommend me do because of this odd encounter? The graphics driver is installed just fine but like I said, other drivers didn't update or just outright failed to, and everytime I check for updates now it just says everything is fine and doesn't give me an option to install anything.

This exact same issue had happened to me a while back on a previous driver, what worked for me was doing a clean install, i.e, uninstalling the driver completely and rebooting and installing the latest driver from scratch. Worked for me, hope it helps
