Hello,
From last 2-3 days, i am not able to play FIFA 18 and GTA 5 on my laptop.
I Have HP laptop (AU134TX) with 4 GB DDR3 Nvidia 940 MX graphics.

Whenever i start the game the start screen of game appears and then an error pops up , the error is :-

DirectX Function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG.GPU:"", Driver:38792. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers. Also, make sure you have a supported graphics card with at least 1024 MB VRAM.

GTA 5 also showed some such kind of error.

The last windows 10 update was there on 11th Oct 2017 and after this update only i have started facing errors.
I have latest graphics driver installed.

so please someone tell me what is the problem exactly.

Solution

I uninstalled the last cumulative update of windows 10, then used "display driver uninstaller" to remove nvidia drivers and stopped windows from updating drivers. Then i downloaded latest driver from nvidia website and installed it. Now everything got fixed. Games are working again without crashing..
Thanks though.
