Nvidia Driver install

I just downloaded the latest,nvidia driver for red hat linux latest version.I do not know how to install this driver.Since i am new to linux.If any one can help me,many thank's to them.
I have tried following the instrutions on nvidia's website.But still no luck.

question : The Nvidia Driver for what? Graphic card or chipset or quadro ?

I've followed the Readme.txt file, it works fine.

what distro and more importantly what kernel are you using? if you are using kernel 2.6.* then you could run into some problems depending how your kernel is configured. The installation is pretty painless so long as you follow the readme as said above.

If it isn't a P6 then it isn't a processor
