Nvidia Driver Keeps Crashing

I decided to update my workstation PC, and for some reason the nvidia Driver keeps crashing sometimes, 2-3 times in a row. After the second or third time the screens just go black. I had thought I fixed the issue by installing a later version of the nvidia drivers from Jan, and it worked for a day but I keep running into the same issue.

Sometimes I will get a blue screen error message. But I just recently updated the settings so that the computer doesn't automatically restart after a BSOD.

**duh I def forgot to add that..**

- EVGA GeForce GTX 660 SUPERCLOCKED 2048MB GDDR5 DVI HDMI DP Graphics Card 02G-P4-2662-KR

Thanks again! I need to get this workstation up and running I use it for Web Dev work.

three things u can try in order:
1. download a program called driver sweeper, go to safe mode, press scan and remove all drivers, then get the latest drivers and install them.
2. google the clocks of the reference edition gtx 660, and change urs to them, with evga precision or any other software.
3.move the gpu to another pci-e slot.

also your power supplier might not be strong enough, which do you have?

Ok will do! I'll get home and try those fixes immediately.

*I used the old power supply, from my previous workstation.**

- Antec TruePower Quattro TPQ-1000 1000W Continuous Power ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply

that sounds more then good enough, make sure you have connected the right power cables into ur gpu.

I tried using another psu, same error messages, I attempted using another video card.. BSOD again.

Thoughts?
