First off, your getting the drivers for the 1070, not the Ti model, and they are from the Nvidia website and not some 3rd party software claiming to install drivers for you?

i don't know i don't know where i see that the bios is the one that comes with msi motherboards but i don't think it's dead mostly because the leds on the front still lights up but i will restart and see
Update: the pci-e slot says that no graphics card is installed

Probably a dead card or dead PCI-E slot. Does your board have another 16x slot you can test the GPU in?

Give it a shot, also what are your full system specs, and how are you powering your GPU? Are you using adapters to power it?

the 1070 has power connectors you must provide power to, it does not use pcie slot power to run it. see red arrow below

Generally no, unless your running a super high end board with a ton of slots, like a mining board. What I'm more concerned about is do you have power cables connected to the card itself, there should be 1 or 2 plugs at the top of your card towards the back of it, there needs to be plugs connected to that from the PSU to power the card.
