Nvidia Drivers Freezing?

Hello.
My friend's computer OS is currently Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit , and while playing ( the higher the quality of the game the more it happens ) the game completely freezes, and the colors go all crazy ! If i quickly press " ALT+TAB "
i go to my desktop and this shows up

If i switch back to the game it's good again.But it'll happen again.( when it freezes and if i don't do nothing the screen goes black , and i'm obligated to force the PC Shutdown).
I Highly suspected it was the Nvidia Drivers,i did a clean unistall and re-install but it didn't work still have the Freezes..
His PC Specs :

> Ram : 4,00GB
> CPU : Intel i5 3470
> GPU : Nvidia GeForce GTX 660

Any solutions for this?

Make sure you have the latest driver from NVidia. Go into device manager and make sure that there are no yellow markers on any device. If there are, install the latest drivers for the devices that have been yellow flagged.

Don't know what MB but boot into BIOS and make sure that it is set correctly and memory timings & speed are correct.

Check the BIOS version and see if there is a newer version. Have seen plenty that a BIOS update will take care of a lot of problems, especially graphics card compatibility. You will have to enter BIOS after the update to set it all up correctly.
