I have two monitors connected to my PC via DVI cables (my current nVidia card has two DVI outputs). I want to get the new nVidia 1050 Ti card, but it doesn't have "dual" outputs. It has one DVI, one DisplayPort, and one HDMI. My monitors have DVI, DisplayPort, and VGA inputs and don't have an "out DisplayPort" for daisy chaining.
So, do I need to use two different ports and cables to run each monitor if with the 1050 Ti card? OR can I use the one DisplayPort output and somehow hookup to both my monitors using a MST hub? I have seen some MST hubs that might work - but it seems these are made for systems that were prior to DP v1.2 specs.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
