I have an FX5200 card that has both a VGA and DVI interface.

I currently have my LCD plugged into the VGA interface.

Can I buy a DVI-analong converter and plug in a CRT monitor?

Will I get dual displays or simply see the same output on two different
monitors?

I'm trying to achieve dual monitor functionality.

Any help would be appreciated.

My FX5200 came with DVI converter connections, assuming you have installed
the nvidia software/drivers you can run dual display. ie single, clone or
extended desktop
