I'm getting the "Video TDR failure nvlddmkm.sys" error. It's driving me nuts. I have a PC with the NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS graphics card. My understanding is that the drivers are not compatible with Windows 10 and NVIDIA isn't fixing the problem. The PC re-boots at various times without a noticeable pattern.

What is the best solution - new graphics card? Which one works best with Windows 10? I'm not a gamer. I use my PC for work and surfing. Occasionally I watch movies or sports on it too.

Hi,

Have you tried download the driver from NVIDIA support site?
- Open Device Manager and uninstall the old driver.
- Go to Programs and Features as well and uninstall anything related to NVIDIA graphics.
- Download and install the latest driver there is from NVIDIA site.
- Here's the link: nvidia.com/download/index.aspx
- Reboot your PC once installed for all the changes to take effect.

The drivers have already been downloaded and installed. I've double checked again today to make sure they are the latest ones. Wish that was the problem. Thanks for the try.
