Nvidia GeForce 8500GT Vs. ATI Radeon HD 3000

So I just bought a new Motherboard & CPU didn't have room in the budget for a new graphics card. So I'm wondering if it would be better to pop in my old Geforce 8500GT or use the on-board Radeon HD 3000 graphics. I know the video cards old, but on-board graphics usually suck as well. Any input would be great thanks guys !

Yes I will be upgrading video cards, soon...very soon I hope.

Gt 8500 would be good than onboard as gpu have its own dedicated memory.

8500gt ca easily be overclocked using gpu tool. increase the memory clock to 625 and you should be okay
