NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX Problem

Win 7 64-bit
Intel Core 2 CPU 2.4ghz
3 gig Corsair ddr
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX
Cool Master 550W

Just installed the video card today. Was playing Diablo 3 for an hour and it worked great. Then the screen went blank and after a couple restarts each time I load D3 the screen tears and the video crashes. Do I have to weak of power supply or is something wrong with my card?

Mobo is nForce 680i LT SLI

Maybe check the card in a friend's computer to see if that is the issue. It might also be the power supply, but I've played for hours on end on my 8800GTX on a cheap-o Dynex 520W PSU.

If it was the power supply would it have been noticeable right away? Because like I said it played great for an hour before I had any trouble.

Not exactly. You cant tell if the radiator on a car is broken until it overheats (or you have a professional look at it, like in the case of a power supply)
