Nvidia Geforce GT 630 Not Recognizing

I just got my new computer and my Nvidia Geforce GT 630 is not being recognized. I put it in the PCIE slot and plugged in the VGA cable yet it still did not recognize. This is very frustrating because I put the GPU in and out 3 times now. Help me please. I have no idea what to do. Thank You in advance. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 😀

does the fan on the card spin when you turn the PC on? are you getting any image from the card at all? do you get a picture if you plug the vga cable into the motherboard vga slot instead of the card?

The fan on the card does spin and all I get is a black screen when I plug the VGA cable in to the gpu. However, when I plug the card in the motherboard VGA slot I see the screen.

If the on-board graphics port is still working that's why your GT 630 isn't.

Go in to BIOS Setup and and disable the integrated (on board) graphics adapter, or set the default graphics device location to "PCI Express" instead of "on board".

Then save & exit BIOS Setup (F10).

I have disabled set the default graphics to PCI Express yet it the gpu still does not display anything. But when I plug the VGA into the onboard graphics it displays something. ;-;

The fans spin and the gpu gets power. I don't know what to do. Please help???
