I would say 310 watts is too low to safely run that graphics card.

No, I would not purchase that power supply. The power supply is the most important component in a computer. If it fails, there is a good chance it will also burn out other components in your computer. I would only recommend a quality power supply from manufacturers like Antec, Seasonic, FSP (Fortran Source), PC Power and Cooling, or Super Flower. A 400w to 550 watt power supply from any of these manufacturers would be sufficient.

If I had no other choice, a 500w to 550 watt power supply from EVGA, XFX, or Corsair would also suffice to power your system with that new card.

Hello!

It should be alright, The big yellow bar with a slot in it is the PCI/e slot so any graphics card will work.

as long as your PSU is 450W or more you should be alright but anything lower than 450W I would replace your PSU with a 500W PSU :)
