I hate what Tom's has done to the posting and forums. It said that there were 6 comments but that I needed to log in to read them. So, I log in and then it says there are none.

I only partially agree. the new system is much more mobile friendly. but yeah, things still need to be fixed

I too was expecting a GTX 660Ti rebrand, but it looks like it may just be the card I've been pining for since last year's release of the disappointing 192-bit cards... A 6 SMX 256-bit GK104 card!

yes it matters because they choose to rebrand rather than just lower the price. but it looks like at least they increased the memory bus. which is a win

Damn i just brought a 660TI about 4 months ago. Now i want to buy a 760Ti just for the 256bit bus vs 192 even if its only a 64bit difference

I'll bet it's a 6 SMX part - the OEM GTX 660 was a 6 SMX card with low clocks and a 192-bit interface - code name: GK104-200. The 660Ti was GK104-300, 670 was -325, and 680 was -400.

If this picture is legit, and it has been dead-on so far, then the GTX 760 will almost definitely be a new 6 SMX part, probably clocked at 1GHz to mostly make up the small difference between it and the 670.

Not just rebrand, but they also improve efficiency. Performing better while requiring less power. Add the lower starting price point of the previous generations equivalent, and the definite price drops to come in the following months. It's a always a good thing to rebrand. My only gripe with it is they did it a little late. They shoulda rebranded a few months sooner. But AMD hasn't pressured with there new GPUs.

Yes, just a cheaper 670, which is pretty awesome. I wanted to wait for 20nm, but these guys are getting close to tempting me for a cheap upgrade then wait out xmas refresh of the 20nm and pass this card to my dad or something...LOL. A GTX 670 hand me down next year would surely make him happy as he has a 8800GTX now. Just curious about the price now. A pair of these wouldn't be bad either depending on cost. So I'd be giving him a card that's about 1.5yr old and upgrade to whatever Q1's maxwell gets refreshed to next xmas 2014. Hmm...Things to ponder. Maxwell and Volcanic will probably be fairly expensive for months anyway on top end (I was wanting 770's replacement maxwell). Clocks should go up and heat/watts down once 20nm is better 9-10 months after volcanic+maxwell hit I'd hope.

Why is everybody going crazy about he 256 bit memory? You do know NVIDIA made these things called GTX570s long ago with 320bit, if you want it so much.
