NVIDIA Geforce Share is "Unable to open"

Hi, i am looking to start posting youtube videos, but recently my Nvidia Share and Shadowplay has stopped working. When opening directly, Geforce says" Unable to open share", when opening in settings, (in game overlay turned off) it says" That didn't work. Try restarting your system!"
My Specs
GTX 1050 Ti
Driver Version 417.01
Intel Core i5-6600 Cpu @3.30GHz
7.89 GB Ram
237 GB of available local storage

Also geforce says recommended for VR is Gtx 970 but it is crossed out for me.

Have you uninstalled Geforce experience and reinstalled? I had to do that to fix the "That didn't work. Try restarting your system" problem I had with the in-game overlay.

I will try that, thanks. My internet is really slow so i was checking if there was anything else to do before i did that.

Nope didn't work. Maybe it has something to do with Razer software?
