UPDATE WITH SOLUTION!

I went here http://www.wagnardmobile.com/?q=display-driver-uninstaller-ddu-

Downloaded the app and rebooted in safe mode. Had windows install drivers, then got new drivers via the nvidia control panel (NOT geforce experience).

It installed fine and everything is working!

ORIGINAL ISSUE:

Hi there,

I have just done a full reset of my 64bit Windows 10 PC and, unfortunately, the Geforce experience says the following when I try to update drivers:

Nvidia Installer cannot contine
The NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows.
The graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? I am planning to sell this PC next week and this will be a big issue for the buyer if I am unable to resolve it!

Please let me know if there is other information I can provide which will be helpful!

EDIT: I forgot to say: Device manager shows "Nvidia Geforce GTX 780 Ti" as the display driver and says the device is up to date.
