For some reason, my Nvidia GPU keeps on crashing. By this I mean it keeps on filling the screen with patterns of blue pixels. It freezes then restarts. If I'm lucky, it sometimes recovers then doesnt restart.

Here are my specs:
OS: Windows 10 Pro
GPU: NVIDIA Geforce GT 710
CPU: Intel Core i5 2nd Gen
RAM: 8GB (7GB usable)
PC Overall: Optiplex 990

I do not use GPU heavy applications, I'm a programmar and this happens sometimes when I use Sublime Text.

Or it can be overheating.
Does your card has a fan, if it does, pull it out and dust it off with compressed air can or even vacuum cleaner.

There is one DIY method of "backing" the card in oven to fix loose soldiering connections, the fix could be permanent or temporary.
It will involve disassembling the card completely, do some heat magic and putting all back together, a little pray and everything would be fine, the question only - for how long.

And Google is your friend, as always...
