Question Nvidia GPU missing after downgrading Windows ?

I downgraded my Windows from 21H2 to 1709 on my MSI laptop in order to use some programs that only function on that specific version.

When downgraded, my Nvidia RTX 2060 GPU was completely missing from devmgmt, task manager, and dxgi.
The integrated Intel UHD laptop graphics functioned just fine but anything Nvidia-related was just gone.

Downloaded the graphics driver provided by my manufacturer but required standard package not DCH but I couldn’t find the same version anywhere on Nvidia. Installing a different version that was standard just resulted in the error “This driver is incompatible with the version of Windows” and another line reading “No compatible graphics hardware found”.
Upon rolling back to 20H2 with a clean install everything worked perfectly fine and was intact.

So my question is why did the Nvidia GPU not want to work on version 1709, is it even possible to find a solution, and how would I go about finding the needed graphics drivers ?

lets see, the GPU released 2 years after win 10 1709, that might be 1 reason
RTX 2060 release date - Jan 15 2019
Win 10 1709 release 2017.

its likely drivers that work with 1709 also don't know what GPU is.

why not install the programs in a VM on the laptop? install 1709 on VM
Probably won't work well if they games and you wanted to use 2060.
