[SOLVED] Nvidia Gpu on Freesync Monitor

Okay, i know that pascal gpus above can work on adaptive sync or freesync on freesync monitor. What i didnt know is that i need a displayport for it. So if i use this displayport to hdmi cable, will it work? My monitor doesnt have a displayport port so hdmi end will be connected to the monitor while dp cable will be connected to the gpu.

No, it will not work. Monitors that only support FreeSync over HDMI are not compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync.
