Hello guys,wanted to ask you if theres any software that can shut down my pc when the gpu reaches a certain temperature.I looked over bios and programs but i find only for cpu`s lol..Please help me 🙁 .Thankss~~

Your computer should shut down if the graphics card overheats anyway; its built into the graphics card.

You can use MSI Afterburner to control the fan speed in respect to temperature if you like.

Wow that sure was a quick answer 😀.About the computer,it wont shut down..i reached even 100c+ and it didnt...and i have some problems with fan now i cant use a software which controls it..I just need a script/program that just shuts my computer down at +80c.

I'm not quite sure how to do that. What GPU do you have? It might be time for new thermal paste anyway.

The GPU is Nvidia 8600GS 512mb.I have it for like 3-4 years.I dont plan now to buy a new gpu because of lack of money.Only a fan i think.I did thermal paste 1 month ago..But the fan is the one that isnt working properly.It rotates,yes,but still...60c temperature on idle?..It doesnt have that temperature all the time but it still annoys me.I heard i need to oil the bearings to make it work itself,without needing me to rotate it,cuz it doesnt start itself,i need to do it.Another thing i saw is that is more harder to rotate it than before.3 Days ago i would just rotate it a bit and it would go on but this time idk what happened..

My 8800GTS 640MB idles around 60C. Just have the fan on full blast and make sure there is no dust in the card. It might be time for a new fan anyway.
