I have a spare GT 1030 2 GB LP from a previous PC, planning to update to something better in the near future. For the processor I bought the brand new Ryzen 3 3300X. Will the GT 1030 produce a negative effect (bottleneck) on the 3300X?

Solution
The GT 1030 2gb will be fine to use with the 3300X if your gaming at 1080P or less. You will need to lower the settings but should be able to game fairly smooth.

A good rule of thumb when picking a GPU for your CPU is to spend double the money that you spent on the CPU on the GPU so ideally a 1660 or 1660S (or AMD equivalent) would be ideal but even something like the RX 570 or 1650S would work well.

Well, thanks. I had that feeling. Hope it won´t completely ruin the performance while playing some less demanding games, at least.

which card would you choose for the Ryzen 3 3300X? I'm looking for some budget gaming card, same price range as the 3300X.
