Hello everyone,

My motherboard got PCI express 2.0. Will I have some problems or slow downs because of 2.0 PCI? Are those 4GB DDR5 huge boost and what is your overall thinking about this gpu?

Cheers

Solution
It's not really very good. No problem on the PCI-E2.0 front, it's just a really basic GPU.

However, what are you trying to use it for? and at what resolution?

I can buy it new for 30eu which is pretty much cheap and it brought my attention since I'm using a few years old gpu. I would use it for a little bit of gaming and the rest would be a simply internet browsing, virtual machines(network administration) nothing heavy.

If you got any better suggestion under 100$ I would gladly hear it.

Cheers

Don't get the 730, it's really outdated. Get its big brother, the GT 1030:

It has, indeed, lower memory, but that's about it. In reality, it's about 3x faster and will perform much better than the 730 and it's still within your budget.

But, if i may add... None of those cards are meant for 1080p... Gameplay on current games will feel sluggish if not on low/medium settings. But around 720p you should be fine with it.
