Question Nvidia GT 740 is capable to play 4K H265 video smoothly

Someone says in a post that gt 1050 is not capable to play 4k video but I don't think so. Even my old display card gt 740 could make it(4k H265 30fps).
The configuration of my computer is as follows:
ASUS AM3 motherboard
AMD phenom II x6 2.9Ghz
16G DDR3 RAM
EVGA gt 740 4G RAM
Windows 10

is not hardware support. it is using software decoding

GT 740 is based on Kepler which supports CUDA video acceleration. However, not all video players work with it. VLC, KMPlayer, MPC-HC, and MPV couldn't. As far as I know, only smplayer works with it.
