hi all i,m hoping you can help me .

i installed a gt210 gpu then installed 1gb of ram alongside my 2gb stick it won,t boot up gets to windows splash screen then reboots ... so i bought a asus hd 5450 silent the 1gb stick works fine alongside i,m puzzled lol


my specs.
Foxconn g31MX-K

intel pentium dual core e5700

2gb of asint ddr2 800mhz

1gb of samsung ddr2 667 mhz .. all running in dual channel mode

1tb hdd
320gb hdd

The most probable reason for your system to fail is improper ram settings.
You cannot add different ram cards to your system. All ram cards should run at ram frequency and timings.
Also if you have 3 cards installed the cards are running at single channel not dual channel.
Try running your pc just with one ram stick installed also reset your bios settings.

it is running in dual channel mode says so at start screen when booting up aslo does,nt explain why itz working with the ati card installed
