[SOLVED] Nvidia GTX 1050 Very Poor Perfomance

Hi, if anyone kindly enough would answer my question regarding this Graphic Card.

I've been using this Graphic Card within my laptop for at least 2-3years right now.

Can anyone explain to me on why this happen? I've updated the bios and driver also cleaning the laptop whole doesnt work.

it seems like both CPU and GPU underperform. It might be due to thermal limitations. For example your CPU or GPU overheats, so it will downclock itself in order to cool down, lowering performance.

Check the temps idle and while gaming with HWmonitor, MSI afterburner or anyother software that can do it. You can also use GPU-z and in the sensors tab it will say if you reaches Power limit or Thermal limit.

Also having 2 sticks of RAM will help performance as it will run in dual channel.
