Hi all,

I recently upgraded to EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 from Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660. Since then, I am unable to play Fortnite. Keeps crashing on me. I get an error saying "Application FortniteClient has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware."

When I tried running FurMark for video stress testing, I get the same error.

Here is what I have already tried.

1. Uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for the graphics card.
2. Ran sfc /scannow.
3. Ran DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth and also /RestoreHealth.
4. Uninstall and re-install Fortnite.
5. Removed and re-seated the video card.
6. Added EPIC Games and Fortnite to Avast anti-virus allowed games list.

My specs are:
CPU: i5-4670 @ 3.4GHz
RAM: 16GB DDR3
Motherboard: ASUS Z87-K
PSU: Thermaltake 700 Watts
Storage: 250GB Samsung EVO SSD
OS: Windows 10 Pro version 1803

I am stumped as to what is the issue with this video card. I need help fixing this. Appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

Yes, there are high quality units.... 550W or 650W.

Seasonic Focus Plus
EVGA G2 or G3
Corsair RMX

OK. Apart from the specs mentioned, I am also running 3 SATA HDDs and a standard DVD writer. Can you recommend any PSU?
