So, Built a new computer recently, Everything fine for about 2 days.. Then While playing minecraft and talking t a couple of friends over skype, everything goes black for about 3 seconds. The screen comes on to say a welcoming 'Nvidia graphics card overload' and something about an 'Error 7' message appears.. Everything graphics related is cut off, So I close everything down and google this mysterious error 7
Turns out that my 650 Ti was unable to run minecraft with no mods or anything; Here's the build:
i5 quad core processor @ 3.2 GHz
Geforce GTX 650 Ti
8 gb Samsung RAM
1 TB seagate barrecuda HDD
400 watt Power supply
That's just the beginning.. I check all of my devices see if anything is happening with the Graphics, Everything is fine.. So I get back on the server with my friends and play for another 30 minutes when my whole computer crashes and the screen flickers from black to normal until going black for 20 seconds and then bluescreening. Restart my computer launch google chrome, Guess what happens it does it again; and again sometimes without even lauching anything, Just on the desktop..
So I uninstalled the nvidia graphics driver and reinstalled it... No change, So I take the 650 Ti out to see if anything has happened eg. Overheated or anything like that. No problems but I still get the black screen effect, I need help really fast; I've been saving up for this computer since July 2011 and there is no way I'll be able to replace it. I think it's the graphics card but is there any other reason for this?! I'm at my wits end!!
P.S I'm 15 years old and english isn't my first language so if you see a mistake, remember that I am not a fluent english speaker
