Hello. I have one strange problem on the machine i am working on. I have monitor connected with display port with gpu. Sometimes the monitor screen is black when i turn on the computer. I notice than when the screen goes black, if i put the cable to normal vga the image shows. So it looks like that 960 gpu isnt putting out any signal. (This think happens randomly. I can start computer 100 times and it will work. But the 101 time the screen will go black. Sometime the screen is black for 2-3 times in a row) Is this duo to a bad gpu ?

I tried updating bios, install latest gpu drivers, set 960 as the main gpu in bios.

Any suggestions ?

Hello Sibuns. I'm having similar problem and I might have a solution for you. It didn't worked for me yet, but I have changed something and I need some time to find out if It has worked or not. So, here is the old post I have found: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1976316/problems-graphics-card-onboard-graphics-conflict.html

There you can see a lot of steps. Try to follow them. My problem with these steps were number 14. After I installed my external graphic card I could not find Intel(R) HD Graphics in device manager. What I did was, before instaling external graphic card I disabled Intel(R) HD Graphics in device manager. And then i installed my external gpu back and went on with next steps.

I hope it will work for you.
