[SOLVED] Nvidia gtx 970 V Radeon r290x V Amd Rx 480

Hi i was just wondering which of these 3 cards is superior over the other As i wish to buy one and not fuck up and have to fork out another £300 for a new one. Any help would be Appreciated.
My pc specs are:
AMD Athlon X4 840 Quad Core
4gb ddr3 Ram at 1600mhz
1tb hdd
500gb HDD

AMD RX 480 8GB ! It's newer and draws less power . Will perform at least 10% better too .

From highest performance to lowest performance:
1. RX 480
2. GTX 970
3. R9 290X

all of them about equal in performance though 290X did use a lot of power than GTX970 or RX480 (the other two around the same power consumption but i think most often custom RX480 being pushed to the limit making the card consume around 200-230w of power). also for modern gaming system it is wise to have at least 8GB or RAM.

The £300 you want to spend on another gpu or you just have these 3 at hand?
All of them are old and the 480 is best, but if you are buying new, then they are all old.
